Thomas NyeComments from the author about writing: My favorite books as a child were about horses and farm life. Living in a community populated by Amish, my love of history, farming and horses brought me into many interesting experiences. In mid-life, I began to write short stories about these adventures, exploring with a variety of writing styles. My goal as a writer, is to share my personal experiences, wrapped in creative fictitious plots. The most enjoyable part of writing for me, is when my characters come to life. I usually begin with an idea of a character that seems familiar to me, as someone I have met or been friends with. As I write, my characters seem to develop a personality of their own, which dictates the direction of their roles in my stories.
