Comments from the author about writing: My first book is The Man Who Could Not Say Love. Both fact and fiction, a major part of it is about events that took place in my life in Iran. I had wanted to write a book for many years and finally came to the conclusion that it was time. This book took me roughly a year and a half to write and to publish. It is a self-published novel. I guess as a child I always liked to tell stories. I generally jot the main idea down on paper in Farsy because it is my native language, and I am much faster at writing it. I re-write my work three to four times in English, all by hand. After that I have my wife type and edit it on the computer. We read and re-read it several times, correcting and adding more details and items of interest. We have friends read, and then we analyze their feedback. Once it is re-written we submit it to a content editor and finally to the line editor. The part that I enjoyed about the process was the challenge of piecing the story together in order to create interest for the readers. I enjoy hearing the feedback from the readers.
