Comments from the author about writing:  My first book was nonfiction about my personal experiences raising my daughter in the horse show world, including a collection of previously published essays and factual information for other parents navigating that world. I am currently writing a novel in stories and working on an MFA in Creative Writing at Fairfield University in CT. Everything I see and do informs my writing. Everything I read informs my writing. Every relationship I have informs my writing. Writing is at turns blissful, painful, boring, exhilarating. In other words, writing is everything!
