Comments from the author about writing:
I took early retirement from my career in business writing and graphic design to write my own material. I have always enjoyed augmenting my interest in history with reading historical fiction--not of the romance variety, but as enjoyable and accurate learning tools. I concentrate on Biblical characters. I have also been writing and teaching adult Bible study curriculum for years, and about a year ago morphed my blog into an online Bible study. In 2021 I collaborated with a pastor to share a groundbreaking sermon series in book form, "Strike the Match, Light the Fire." I am passionate about my faith and write in this passion. I also write Readers' Theater scripts based on Scripture.
Literary awards received and date received:

Genre: Drama, History, Realistic Fiction
Are you willing to do programs for schools, libraries, or other groups? Yes
If you are willing to do programs, will you charge a fee? I would like to be paid mileage and a small stipend. I am willing to negotiate this to fit into a group's budget.
I can talk about how to write fiction which is true to history; the labels we accept as true about ourselves and live under; and how to study history or the Bible through writing character studies. I can also lead a class writing Reader's Theater pieces, including participation using scripts I have written.
