Enjoy lively discussion with fellow reading enthusiasts; drop-ins welcome. Date and times of event 1st Monday of the month, two locations and times. This month we are reading The Absolutist by John Boyne and Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk.

The Absolutist is a masterful tale of passion, jealousy, heroism, and betrayal set in one of the most gruesome trenches of France during World War I. This novel will keep readers on the edge of their seats until its most extraordinary and unexpected conclusion, and will stay with them long after they've turned the last page.

Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk: Three minutes and forty-three seconds of intense warfare with Iraqi insurgents has transformed the eight surviving men of Bravo Squad into America's most sought-after heroes. Now they're on a media-intensive nationwide tour to reinvigorate support for the war. On this rainy Thanksgiving, the Bravos are guests of the Dallas Cowboys, slated to be part of the halftime show alongside Destiny's Child.
