The Clive Book Club meets at 7:00 p.m. on the last Tuesday of every month in the Community Room at the Clive Public Library. Informative discussions are held on the chosen novel with impressions and opinions being shared by all. Rosemary Johnson is the facilitator and the group votes two months in advance on their books to discuss. On voting nights members can present a book and give a brief summary before the group votes. We read mostly fiction but have enjoyed some non-fiction books as well. The Book Club has hosted several authors who have read from their books and talked about their writing process and graciously answered questions. Anyone interested may attend any or all of the monthly discussions and new members are always welcome. There is no cost to participate. Some copies of most selections are available for checkout at the Library. September's selection is Change Me Into Zeus' Daughter by Barbara Robinette Moss.
