If you are a daily newspaper reader, you probably recognize author Callista Gould from her weekly take on etiquette in The Des Moines Register. If you are interested in advancing your career, mark your calendar for this free book talk at Artisan Gallery 218 on Monday, May 21 at 6:30 PM when Gould will share her new book, The Exceptional Professional: What You Need to Know to Grow Your Career. 

Gould, who has been a Certified Etiquette Instructor for more than ten years, is the founder of the Culture and Manners Institute. She has enjoyed a successful and varied career, including as Director of Marketing for InterTech Media, a pioneer in web video based in Stamford, CT. Prior to that, she worked as the Manager of Public Relations for Amana Appliances in Amana, IA and did marketing and event planning at Sony Music in Chicago for artists such as Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Ozzy Osborne and Korn. 
Gould has an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago and Bachelors in English and Medieval Studies from the University of Iowa. Her etiquette expertise has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune and Dallas Morning News. Her Etiquette Tip of the Week blog can be found on DesMoinesRegister.com and sometimes...she Tweets.
