Make Job Loss Work for you explains the Deems JobGetting Skills System, a proven system for facing the emotions of a layoff head-on and getting past the emotions to look for a new job, including resume, cover letter tips, search strategy, negotiation, and success in the new position.

Terri A Deems, PhD, is the co-author with her dad of the new book Make Job Loss Work For You. She has been involved in career development work for over 15 years both as a career coach and workshop presenter. She's a firm believer in taking the time and doing energy to identify the kind of workplace environment where a person can be successful, and learn to turn job-hunting into JobGetting. Terri Deems lives in Ankeny.
