Dragonfly Books Presents Jerry Johnson's "COOT STEWS"
Dragonfly Books will host local, outdoor writer Jerry Johnson with his new book Coot Stews. Known for his “Old Coots” essay collections, Jerry continues to write about bird dogs, bird hunting, and tales of life in the North Country. Jerry will share stories from his collection and sign books on Friday, February 26th at 7:00 pm at Dragonfly Books. At turns humorous, serious, caustic, and heartwarming, Coot Stews beautifully demonstrates Jerry’s love for the North Country, hunting companions, and the values and ethics that have shaped his outlook on life. A former newspaper reporter, editor and columnist, Jerry Johnson is now retired after 25 years as director of public relations at Luther College. If you find that you can't make it to the event but would still like to purchase one of Jerry’s books, just give Dragonfly Books a call at 563-382-4275. One of our staff will be glad to reserve a book and have it autographed for you.
