I am a longtime newspaper columnist and radio homemaker with ten published books currently to my credit. Early on in my writing career I began sharing my life and experiences with my readers. I’ve always, somewhere, included a recipe. My books are about my own life plus real people I have known and experiences I feel should not be forgotten. My most recent book, Witching for William, is a search for my great-great-grandfather that includes mystery, history, travel, genealogy, and adventure.
I bought my first computer in 1985 and I’m now on my fifth. After using an old Royal typewriter for my first columns and books, I find it delightful to have such a good helper. I do public presentations and book readings, preferably within 100 miles of my Sidney, Iowa home. Fee to be negotiated. Even though I’ve celebrated my 88th birthday, I plan to write as long as I can to keep the little gray cells alive and well. I’m having a wonderful life and much enjoy sharing it with so many interesting people.
