The UNESCO City of Literature in Iowa City will present “One Book Two Book, A Children’s Literary Festival” Friday, January 13 through Sunday, January 15, 2012. Representatives from the Iowa Center for the Book will exhibit along with authors, illustrators, book sellers, educators, and librarians. National Book Award Winner Kathryn Erskine is the guest speaker Friday evening. Saturday includes an action-packed children’s book fair to celebrate the importance of literature in the development of children’s literacy, imagination, and the love of reading.
