Spring Luncheon Book Talk
Thursday, May 29, at noon Cole Library and Hills Bank will host a luncheon book talk on the library’s second floor. Cathy Boggs and Jean Donham will “book talk” new titles to start your summer reading list. A sack lunch will be provided courtesy of Hills Bank. All Iowa Read Discussion of Digging to America
Digging to America by Anne Tyler is the book chosen for All Iowa Reads. Cole Library will host a discussion of this book on Tuesday, May 20 at 7:30 in the Small Conference Room on the library’s third floor.
Book discussion on "The Blue Bottle Club"
Book discussion group will meet at the Nissen Public Library May 21 at 12 noon to discuss the book "The Blue Bottle Club." Use city hall entrance and bring a sack lunch if you like.
Library & Lunch: All Iowa Reads Book, "Digging to America"
The Griswold Public Library will be hosting their final Library & Lunch until next fall on Wednesday, May 21st from noon to 1 pm. Bring your own sack lunch and we will provide the drink. Judy Marnin from Iowa Western Community College and Cindy Miller, Griswold Library Director will lead the discussion on the All Iowa Reads book, Digging to America by Anne Tyler. Extra copies of the book are available at the Griswold Library including large print and audio CD. Anyone is welcome to join us for this informal event.
