Your inspiring book, Circles in the Stream, has lit a star inside of me. It has given me life, and
has changed my
point of view of myself and others. It
has brought before me the beauty of
nature and how
to appreciate the earth.
features Emily, who has a lot in common with
me. Like her,
to face teasing as the new kid and much loneliness. I
do appreciate animals and nature, but after
absorbing thoughts by
Emily, I noticed
that the world
is not just a planet we live on.
It is a work of beauty and a gift given to mankind and animals. We must respect
it with care.
Emily moved on with her life, she met a good friend, someone like her, who
had also just moved to where she lived. Adriane, (which is her name) became a close friend to her. Like Emily, I found close friends, Kara, Grace, and others
care deeply about me. After I found these friends, I realized the
world is not
as cruel as it seems to
be. There are kind
people out there waiting
for others in need of help.
Surprisingly, I discovered something about myself.
As I read your book,
felt as if something was stirring inside of me. I pondered it
I discovered what it
was. It was the feeling of strength created by
my friends. I started to lose the feeling
of loneliness as I entered a new world. I felt I actually had
a part in this world, just like Emily received new found strength created
by her animal friends and Adriane.
Miss Roberts, your book helped me have a part in this world.
It gave me new strength. Emily and I have a lot in common. Your
book changed me. I give you thanks from
all of my heart.
