Dear Cressida Cowell,
I just finished a pretty good book you wrote called How To Be A Pirate. My favorite part of the book was when Hiccup and his friend Fishlegs' boat sank and they went under water and found a cavern. There they opened a door that clearly said "Do NOT Open"! There they found the real treasurer - way more treasure than they found on the Island of Scullions. But there was a dragon inside! The dragon caught hiccup. They had to out smart him. So Toothless flew in front of the big dragon's eyes and the dragon wasn't so smart so he forgot about his tentacle holding Hiccup. So, Hiccup slipped his shirt over the tentacle. The dragon was mad because they confused him with Toothless flying in front of his eyes so he meant to sting hiccup but stung himself and he died.
My favorite character would be Hiccups dragon toothless. Because he's a funny dragon. The way he insults people is hilarious.
I live in a situation similar to Hiccup. He is scrawnier than the other boys and not as muscular. A majority of the boys in my grade are taller, weigh more, as well as bigger, meaner and tougher then I am. I also have some strengths similar to Hiccup. I am smart and can beat people in sword fights. I used to insult people but after seeing how it made Hiccup feel when toothless insulted him it made me think. I don't insult people as much now.
I think your main idea is that no mater how small you are you can achieve great things even though things seem impossible.
On a scale of one to ten I give this book a 10 because Hiccup's dragon, Toothless was so funny that I laughed out loud a ton
Sincerely
Caleb Hoffman
