Dear Christopher Paolini,

"Eragon, honor the past, live in the present, but don't fear the future because it doesn't exist and never will. " A Quote From Saphira. When Saphira said that it changed my way of thinking.

Honor the past ... When I read that part it reminded me of how my Great Grandma died and how Brom died in the story. I honor the past by remembering and respecting my Great Grandma and keeping her with me in my memories.

Live in the present ... When I read that part it reminded me about having to study and do my homework so that I can do well when I'm older just like how Eragon has to study the ancient language so he can defeat Galbatorix when he's ready.

But don't fear the future because the future doesn't exist and never will. When I read that part it reminded me of how I'm worried about managing my money and getting enough like Eragon's worries about fighting Galbatroix. After that I wasn't worried anymore because the future hasn't happened yet so it doesn't exist.

Sincerely,
Sarah Koch
