Dear Jenny Nimmo,
One day, while I was in the school library, I came across your series. I picked up the first book and started reading it. Your books amazed me. A whole year after that (which is now), I am through the series so far, and the book that I liked the most is the 5th one: Charlie Bone and the Hidden King.
I think that as the series progressed the story became better and better. That is why I think that the last book is the best. I think that it is so different than the other books in the series because the other books are about what the Bloors are up to and stopping them, but in the Hidden King, I wasn't expecting Miss Chrystal to be the one to help the Bloors because she was always so nice. Another thing that surprised me was that Olivia was an endowed. I had always wondered why Olivia was in the story because she wasn't an endowed. Now I know why you put Olivia in the book.
I also think that Charlie is kind of like me in a funny sort of way. I mean. I don't have a special power but I think that my curiosity is just like his. And my friend, Ashok, is like Fedilio because he almost always has a smile on his face and spreads positive attitude - he even plays the violin, too, like Fedilio.
Your book has shown me that there is a lot of evil out in the world and there is almost always someone there to stop it. Your book has inspired me to stand up for what is right and to try to stop what is wrong. So, I want to thank you for writing this book, because without it, I would probably not be standing up for what is right. I hope you now know that someone in the world has benefited from your writings.
Thanks,
Srinu Dhanwada
