Comments from the author about writing: I am a school nurse with three children of my own and a love for children. Every day at school, in working with elementary children, I am exposed to not only children but their families. In my writings it is my goal to not only give a delightful children's book, but to reach the heart of the parent/child relationship. For this reason, I include a parent and child discussion page in the book for them to bring a deeper meaning to the joyful story. My first book, Timothy, the Rat Tailed Cat, is a true story about my cat who had a tail injury when he was a kitten and now is taken care of in a different way by our family. This story relates things like adoption, compassion for an animal, and care for others as well. The second children's book is on the way, entitled, Blind Man's Bluff. Look for it around next Christmas!
