Comments from the author about writing: I write both fiction and nonfiction. Most of my stories are for young adult audiences, but they tend to be universal. In nonfiction I am drawn to stories about people from different cultures and parts of the world. In fiction, I enjoy writing about the wonders of the natural world--and conflicts that arise when humans enter these magical places.
