Comments from the author about writing: My published books are children's picture (actually photo) books about my cat, Sunshine. The Cat and Mouse Trilogy is Where Is Your Mousey?, Oh, No...Not Again! and Your Mousey Needs a Bath. The stories are told in photos and rhyme. Meant to be read aloud, the Trilogy leads into the Sunshine Read-Aloud Series about Sunshine and her friends - the dog Sassy and her new housemate Cally, the calico cat. Sassy and Cally have their own stories as do the cats who live outside on the farm.

My approach to writing is to think like a child and think like animals, to use photos of the funny things animals do and make stories out of those photos. Rhyming has always been easy and it makes reading out loud a bit like singing a song.
