Comments from the author about writing: I started writing because I wanted to watch less television, and I wanted to document the story of our courtship, (me and my wife) for posterity. I had no idea that the story would be published.  It has been gratifying to know that others appreciate the way in which I have told the story.  It has been fun and I may write more in the future.  I would encourage all who have a story to tell, to write it.  You just never know what might happen.
