Comments from the author about writing: I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Psychology, have been writing for 25+ years and am widely published in magazines, newspapers, and anthologies, including five Chicken Soup books. Because I have combined writing with motherhood (mother of eight), I have a passion for helping young women get published. I do writing workshops at the River Lights bookstore in Dubuque, Iowa and for Hawkeye and NICC community colleges, along with couponing workshops and public speaking.

Book Types: Nonfiction

Audience Types: Adult

Genre: Journalist non-fiction, Memoir

Are you willing to do programs for schools, libraries, or other groups? Yes

If you are willing to do programs, will you charge a fee? Yes. I charge fees for my one and two-hour power point couponing workshops and my beginning writing for publication workshops. I also do public speaking on journaling through grief, utilizing your talents in your everyday life and combining motherhood and writing. Fees are negotiable, depending upon how far I have to drive and what type of program is requested.
