Cooper, Brian E.
Comments from the author about writing: My first two books were biographies of late Chicago White Sox stars enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Red Faber and Ray Schalk. Faber was a native of Dubuque County, Iowa. My current project is a biography of Dubuque native Jay Berwanger, winner of the first Heisman Trophy, awarded to the year's best player in college football.
