Comments from the author about writing: Story ideas don't come easily for me, so when one pops up I write a paragraph with a rough description of the story. I follow that with detailed character sketches and, as much as possible, a scene-by-scene outline. Although I often stray from my outline, it keeps me from getting stuck in the middle with nowhere to go.
I write because it's challenging and fun, and there's such satisfaction in creating an entire world from my imagination.
