Comments from the author about writing: My book Celebrities Remember Their Favorite Teachers is just that - a collection of stories from famous people about their favorite teachers. It has been a great joy to receive the stories through email, phone calls, and letters. There are certainly different types of "celebrities" in my world, from movie stars, authors, cartoonists, Honey Queens, scientists, architects, and endless other areas. I have recently begun my second book. I am fulfilling my joy in life by continuing to teach literature at Prairie Valley Middle School.
