Bender, Loretta M.
Comments from the author about writing:
I am 70 years old. I have wanted to write since fourth grade but I was not
able to fulfill my dream of publishing until at 68 circumstances
seemed to fall into place and I was finally able to publish my first
book. Writing to me is like a disease. There is no cure except to
write. You can stop at any time, but it will eat at you until you do
something about. The only cure is to write, whether you publish or not.
I published a number of short stories years ago and have written a
number of articles for the Fort Dodge Messenger. I have always wanted
to write books that gave a positive, uplifting story.
