Atkins, Martha A.
Comments from the author about writing: I have written a biography of my uncle, a WW 1 soldier, in order to preserve his place in history. A young son of Kansas, he who volunteered to serve his country when it needed him and as a result made the supreme sacrifice. This is the human story of the war and the impact it had on his family and community. I have also written poems for private sharing. My professional publications focuse mainly on academic journals and books.
