In every corner of the globe I have seen women struggle, sometimes against daunting odds. I have seen them nearly break under the weight of their lives. I have also felt an abundance of spirit, of wisdom, and of connection with these women—ordinary women who live with extraordinary grace. My life profoundly enriched, I write their stories because I must. I have been an ear for so many women, so many stories. Now I will be their voice.
