I am a compulsive reader and writer. When I'm not writing, I'm reading. Most of the fifty books that I have written are set in the late 1800's, during WWI, The Great Depression, and WWII. My publisher describes me as "The Voice of the Heartland."

Literary awards received and date received.

More than 20 Awards including Best Western Writer of the Year and recognized as Iowa Author of the Year 2006.  I have 20 million books in print in 37 different countries and have been translated into 19 different languages.
