Comments from the author about writing:  I have been a writer over half of my life.  Writing is an outlet unlike any other form of escape.  It allows us to go inside our hearts and look around without the input of the outside world.  My favorite part of writing is character development.  I love to create characters that are so real to life that my readers might actually recognize them on the sidewalk if they happened to walk by!  My goal is to develop characters the readers continue to think about even when they're not reading.  My forte is designing a thought process for each character that speaks to the reader at multiple levels.  For instance, what a person is thinking is not always what they are speaking.  My writing style captures the art of real life conversations, both inside and outside the character's head.  Such a technique allows the readers a more intimate relationship with the characters.  These are the characters that last long after the book has been put on the shelf.
