Writing has always been a part of my life. I have gone from keeping lengthy journals and writing short stories to poetry to writing for newspapers and magazines. And the dream, just like most writers, was that I would someday publish a book. Even as a youngster, when all the other girls were playing school with their dolls, I was the newspaper writer.
I think writing should be informative and tell a story. I think in my journalistic stories, I have tried to write so that the reader is
pulled into the story, whether it be fact or fiction. I have always wanted my
readers to either identify with the story characters, or at the very least,
pique their interest to know more about the characters or story concept.
