Enjoy lively discussion with fellow reading enthusiasts; drop-ins welcome. Date and times of event 1st Monday of the month, two locations and times. This month we are reading "Shane" by Jack Schaefer.
The stranger, Shane, dresses in brown, black, and leather and is so tough he carries no gun. He drinks from the trough after his horse finishes. A biblical silence follows him, and people lose their senses when he looks their way. He's a man no bullet can kill. He's part attack Doberman, part heroic champion. Shane is a work of literature first and a western second. --St. George Daily Spectrum
