The Independence Public Library is excited to bring you a week filled with unbelievable author visits in April 2012! Jim Aylesworth, Wanda Brunstetter, and Catherine Coulter will all be here through the library's new CAMEO Series...Celebrating Authors: Meaningful Enrichment Opportunities!
On Saturday, April 21st at 1:00 pm, you will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to get published and hear about publishing options from New York Times bestselling author Catherine Coulter. The workshop is entitled, "Stranger in a Strange Land: How to Get Published in this Current Crazy Climate." This will be followed by a question and answer session.
The Writers' Workshop will be $10, payable to the Independence Public Library Foundation (or IPL Foundation). Tickets will go on sale beginning March 20.
Coulter will also be doing a presentation and book signing later the same day. The presentation is free, but you will want to secure a free ticket if you plan to attend.
Catherine Coulter is the author of 68 novels, including 60 New York Times bestsellers. She earned her reputation writing historical romances. Since then, she has written 15 more bestselling thrillers in the series, including The Maze, The Target, The Edge, Riptide, Hemlock Bay, Eleventh Hour, Blindside, Blowout, Point Blank, Double Take, Tailspin, Knockout, Whiplash and Split Second.
