Journalist Bryan Mealer reads from his book The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. Mealer co-authored the book with William Kamkwamba, chronicling Kamkwamba’s effort to build windmills to provide electricity to his village in Malawi. Mealer has been an Associated Press staff correspondent in Kinshasa, Congo, and has reported from locations across the African continent. His writing has appeared in Harper's and Esquire, among others.
