Join us for the 6th Annual Montezuma All-Iowa Writers’ Conference on Saturday, September 19 at Community Hope, 108 Circle V Ranch Road, in Montezuma, Iowa!
Thomas Maltman, author of the 2014 “All Iowa Reads” novel Little Wolves, will be headlining this year’s conference. Maltman, who is from the Twin Cities area, is also the author of the award-winning novel, The Night Birds. He will be offering manuscript critiques throughout the day. Space is limited and you must pre-register for this opportunity.
Joining Thomas will be Elaine Marie Cooper, author of the award winning historical novel, Fields of the Fatherless and Tim Bascom, director of Creative Writing at Waldorf College. Also presenting will be Maggie Myers, whose success of her self-published book, The Final Piece, led her to sign with Gelfman and Schneider Literary Agency and Lake Union Publishing.
Author Matthew Davenport who supports the writing community with his company, Davenport Writes, will also be joining us. Rounding out our amazing line-up is Iowa City author, Larry Baker. His first novel, The Flamingo Rising, was published in 1997 by Knopf and was adapted for a Hallmark TV movie in 2001.
