Joan Mauch, a resident of Davenport, reads from her latest novel The Waterkeeper’s Daughter, a murder mystery about what happens when a man seeks revenge for havoc wreaked on his family and their farm caused by the aerial spraying of pesticides and decides to target the cropduster’s son, Lake Okeechobee Waterkeeper Craig Whitaker and his daughter, Annie, for death. Joan’s earlier novels include Halifax and The Mangled Spoon.
