A writer of prose and poetry, Trisha Georgiou’s works have been featured in publications close to her native Midwestern roots and those in European markets.
A New Life is her third poetry chapbook. Previous works include Quartered Enlightenment (2013) and My Name is A (1999). She was a contributing author to Midwest Writing Center’s, A Creative Writing Primer.
Trisha is a contributor to PaperGirl Quad Cities, “The Art of Giving Art” project; “Pulse of the Cities”, a poem from A New Life, was a finalist in Bettendorf Public Library’s Poetry in Motion contest. Her poem, “Transformation” was chosen by Salvatore Marici, Poet in Residence, for the 2010 Collins Poetry Residency Online Journal.
She has also appeared on WVIK’s Art Talks with Bruce Carter and Nurturing Your Creative Spirit radio program hosted by Glorie Iaccarino. A native to the Quad-City area she lives and writes in Moline, Illinois, while being an active volunteer and member of the Board of Directors for the Midwest Writing Center.
