Dragonfly Books is celebrating with local author Jerry Johnson for his new book Old Coots Never Forget: More of the Curmudgeon’s Stories about Life in the North Country. Jerry will be signing copies of his new book at Java John’s Coffee House on Sunday, August 2nd at 2:00 pm. Everyone is invited to join us to see what the Old Coot is up to now.
A long time Decorah resident, Jerry is a former newspaper reporter, photographer, editor, columnist and college public relations director.
In Old Coots Never Forget, Jerry recounts the adventures that shaped his life, remembering friends that carried him through the hard times and helped celebrate the joyful times. Including great bird dogs, good hunts, close friends, and quiet evenings, the stories of Old Coots Never Forget reminds us of the important things in life.
