The Iowa Bibliophiles 2014-2015 season continues next week on Wednesday, October 8th with the second presentation in our 2014 series of talks covering collecting.
The meeting will begin at 6:00pm in the Special Collections Reading Room, Third Floor, University of Iowa Main Library, at the corner of Madison and Burlington Streets, Iowa City. Light refreshments will be served at 5:30pm.
Professor Arthur Bonfield is the Associate Dean Emeritus and Allan Vestal Distinguished Chair at the University of Iowa Law School and is an avid rare book collector. He will be speaking about "Annals, Chronicles and Histories -- Mostly English with a Few Continental -- 1493 to 1632" and will be bringing selected works from his collections.
