Reading Fun For All Storytime Workshop

Monday, September 15 and Monday, September 22, 6-8:30pm, Community Room, Ames Public Library. Join us for a hands-on workshop that will give the training you need to become competent and confident in making reading an enjoyable and educational experience for children in small or large groups. We'll cover everything from how to pick out books to effective reading aloud strategies and other supportive elements. This workshop is open to any interested adult and would be of particular interest to childcare providers. The material is cumulative, so plan to attend both nights. Registration is required.
