Winner of 2008 "All Iowa Reads" Books Announced
Adel Public Library wins 15 copies

The Adel Public Library won 15 copies of next year's All Iowa Reads (AIR) selection, "Digging to America" by Anne Tyler. The names of all the libraries that registered their 2007 AIR event on the Iowa Center for the Book (ICB) calendar were put into a hat.
Kate Scott, coordinator of the Polio Oral History Project, drew the name of the winning library on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the State Library. Katherine Von Wald, coordinator of the ICB was on hand to help.
